2 trampled to death by wild elephant in Telangana, search for tusker underway Apoorva Jayachandran, India Today April 4, 2024 At least two people died after a wild elephant entered some fields in Telagana's Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district. The elephant entered an agricultural field and killed a person in Chintala Manepally in Kouthala Mandal on Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday morning, another person was also killed by the same tusker in Penchikalpet Mandal. The forest officials have not caught the elephant yet and an operation is underway.
