Man Killed In Elephant Attack In Dhenkanal, Wife Injured (Dhenkanal) Pragativadi News Service September 26, 2022 A man was killed while his wife was critically injured after being attacked by an elephant at Chandpur village under Mahabirod Range in Dhenkanal Forest Division on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Behera of the village. According to reports, the incident took place while Ramesh and his wife Tara Behera had gone to attend nature’s call to a nearby waterbody today morning when they were attacked by the elephant. Subsequently, the couple sustained grievous injuries. Later, both of them were rescued by forest department officials and rushed to Mahabirod hospital.
