Jumbo herd stirs panic in K’jhar dist (Keonjhar) Times of India December 1, 2024 Panic gripped locals in Keonjhar district's Sadar range area on Sunday after a herd of 28 elephants was spotted in the Murusuan Sal forest near Ardei River. The elephants have been in the area for several days, said sources. Hundreds of locals witnessed the herd in Ratanpur Hudi from NH20, near the Bankmaruni Bridge.
