The Madras High Court has warned that the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu
Power Generation and Distribution Corporation will be ordered to appear
before the court if he does not file a report by September 9 on the steps
taken to repair the lower power lines. We do. Forest area of Tamil Nadu

in the bench of Justice Satish Kumar and Justice Bharat Chakraborty.
At that time the judges pointed out that the Madurai branch of the High
Court had ordered the repair of low power lines in the Meghamalai forest
area of Theni district and said the order would be applicable to the whole
of Tamil Nadu.
Further, the judges expressed grief over the fact that an elephant dies
every month due to non-repair of low power lines in the forest area and
ordered that in respect of the action taken to implement this order A
report should be submitted by 5 September.
Otherwise, he warned that the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Power
Generation and Distribution Corporation would be ordered to appear in
person.
In another case, the judges advised that the forest department should not
be allowed to work at the same place for more than 10 years, pointing out
that by allowing them to continue working at the same place, They are
involved in illegal gangs.
So, how many will serve more than three years? The judge adjourned the
hearing till August 16 while ordering the forest department to submit a
report on the number of displaced people.
