A group of entrepreneurs, Panchayat leaders, and citizens from Chakulia
came together on Friday at the Gaushala of Kolkata Pinjrapole Society.

The meeting was chaired by Durga Datt Lodha, the President of Small
Industries Association. They were all concerned about the problems caused
by wild elephants in the area.

The meeting was centered around finding ways to address the problems caused
by the elephants.

We have decided to hold a follow-up meeting on July 9th in order to discuss
and plan the structure of a movement that will address this issue.

Members of the Mukhiya Sangh will also be joining the upcoming meeting.

During the meeting, entrepreneurs shared their concerns about the ongoing
issue of wild elephants causing significant damage to local rice mills,
factories, and the Gaushala over the past two years.

The residents in the neighborhood are going through a difficult time, with
a lot of damage to their lives and property.

The elephant menace affects every section of society, and people perceive
the forest department as being inactive.

We urgently need a public movement to address the issues caused by the
elephants.

Some of the attendees at the event were District Council member Dharitri
Mahato, former District Council member Jagannath Mahato, Mukhiya Sangh
President Radhanath Murmu, Kaliyam Panchayat Mukhiya Daso Hembram,
Shyamsundarpur Mukhiya Hiramani Hansda, Sardihah Mukhiya Dangi Soren,
Chandanpur Mukhiya Mado Tudu, Millers Association Secretary Vicky Rungta,
Ganesh Prasad Rungta, Shankar Rungta, Alok Lodha, Deepak Jhunjhunwala,
Parmeshwar Rungta, former Ward Councilor Raisen Soren, Prashant Rungta,
Subhash Lodha, Keshav Rungta, Priyagopal Mandal, Basudev Rungta, Avinash
Surekha, Amit Bharatiya, and several other entrepreneurs.

The meeting emphasized the importance of working together to solve the
issue with elephants and ensure the well-being and safety of the community.
