Sick Tusker Stuck Inside Pond In Sambalpur Dies After Rescue (Bhubaneswar) Ommcom News June 21, 2022 The ailing elephant that was stuck inside a pond and was battling for life at Sapalhara village under Padiabahal range in Sambalpur district died today. The tusker died after it was lifted from the pond to its banks using a crane, reports said. The injured elephant which was stuck in the muck inside the pond since last Thursday was down with fever and its condition was deteriorating, reports further said.
