Billboards to be put in US Nagar jumbo corridors for safe passage (Rudrapur) Aakash Ahuja, Times of India March 31, 2024 Efforts are underway to install sign boards along elephant corridors passing through the forests of Surai, Kilpura and Khatima ranges in the Udham Singh Nagar district to aid forest personnel in understanding the routes and better navigation, officials said on Saturday. Sightings of elephants have recently been reported in the Surai range, indicating ongoing movement within the corridor. However, there have been instances of elephants straying into populated areas due to road blockages, leading to crop damage.
